Hello friends,
We are writing this letter because of the love for the sport of Big Game Fishing and the wonderful friendships
this fantastic game has produced. The countless gifts that have been offered to us through Blue Water Fishing
can never be repaid, for there are only a few avenues open for the return of this gift. Of course the releasing of
game-fish alive is one way to feel comfortable in the pursuit of our sport, and this is a very important
commitment, but there is another that can be combined  with that quest and that is your participation in
charity based tournaments. Giving back to the fishing community is a must if we want to have continued
support from local areas being fished. The following words are asking you for consideration to participate in the
“American Caribbean Challenge” Tournament.

The “American Caribbean Challenge” Tournament, Cabo Rojo, Western Puerto Rico, will be a charity-based
tournament. The tournament will help fund street signs warnings of “Hearing Impaired and Sight Impaired
Children” that play in area neighborhoods. The long-range goal is to build a school for hearing and sight
impaired young people so they can better themselves and be better accepted into the community. All of the
proceeds after tournament expenses will be donated to a non-profit fund over-seen by the office of the Mayor
of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, the tournament host community. Mayor Perza has fully endorsed this effort.

We will be fishing from Puerto Real, Puerto Rico, USA. The Tournament will be a total Billfish “Tag and
Release” competition using the Billfish Foundation’s format. A tax deductible donation can be applied to an
individual income tax charitable deduction
. Checks made-out to the "American Caribbean Charities"
2010 dates are Sept. 30 - Oct. 3, Sept 30 as Media and VIP Day, Captains Meeting Oct. 1

All have promised to return for the 2010 ACC Tournament!
